For the third year in a row, garden bloggers from all over the country are gathering to meet face-to-face, this time in Buffalo, NY. Buffa10 officially begins Thursday night, July 8th and extends to Saturday, July 10th. Elizabeth Licata and Jim Charlier are the masterminds behind this garden lover’s extravaganza. Check out the blog they’ve set up for more info. Hope to meet you there!

In the end, this may be the most important thing about frost: Frost slows us down. In spring, it tempers our eagerness. In fall, it brings closure and rest. In our gotta-go world–where every nanosecond seems to count–slowness can be a great gift. So rather than see Jack Frost as an adversary, you could choose to greet him as a friend.

Ooh, that would be awesome, I wish I could go. I wonder if there’s anything like that in Denver… Have a great time! 🙂

Our “mini-walk” will include more gardens than a lot of other garden tours! (at least 20, I am pretty sure). Seriously, the maxi-walk can be overload.

Maybe we can get a carpool arrangement from the area. That’s said, I’m lousy at committing more than a week or two out.

Think I’ll try to make it this year! I already vowed to go to Garden Walk after missing it in ’09. This might be a good mini-walk.
