Disclosure Policy

Currently, this blog is a personal blog written and edited by me, Kathy Purdy. Previous to the development of this policy, this blog has been a collaborative blog at various times in the past. Some of the writers were given compensation in the form of a share in third party advertising income, but they did not know they were going to receive such income and I do not believe it influenced their writing.

This blog accepts cash advertising and sponsorship, and participates in affiliate marketing programs. Currently, most advertising is generated by a third party ad network. All advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements.

I do not accept paid topic insertions. I do accept guest posts on topics I believe to be of interest to our readers. The writers of such guest posts may benefit indirectly from such posting.

I do accept and keep free products, services, travel, event tickets, and other forms of compensation from companies and organizations. Most of these are provided for the purpose of being reviewed on this blog and are identified as such in the review. I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

This blog does not contain any content which might present a conflict of interest. If at some time in the future, a potential conflict of interest arises, that potential conflict will be made explicit.

“topic insertions,” huh? That’s a new one! So thanks for getting up up to date on these issues, and your Code looks great. Also, thanks for giving this your thoughtful attention. S
