Today, Cold Climate Gardening turned nine years old. My very first blog post was a list of goals for this blog. After that, I didn’t mention my blogiversary until 2006, when I wrote a six part series on Garden Blog Pioneers in honor of my fourth blogiversary. The following year I invited my readers to interview me for my fifth blogiversary. I made brief mention of it for years seven and eight. And now we are nine, which means, next year, Lord willing, I will have a decade of garden blogging under my belt. Time flies when you’re having fun.
In its own way, frost may be one of the most beautiful things to happen in your garden all year . . . Don’t miss it. Like all true beauty, it is fleeting. It will grace your garden for but a short while this morning. . . . For this moment, embrace frost as the beautiful gift that it is.
