There were many patches of Cyclamen coum in Mr. Lyman’s garden. This had the most intensely colored flowers. Having finally seen this cyclamen for myself, I regret not having purchased some from Seneca Hill Perennials when it was still in business.
When dealing with frost it is always best to be paranoid. In the spring never think it is too late for one more frost to come. And in the fall never think it too early.

I never knew cyclamen could be cold hardy to zone 3. I grew some with success in front of a doorwall in my apartment many years ago and got it to bloom. Of course, it was on the cool side in front of that doorwall, so it rebloomed very nicely. Now I want some for my home garden!
