Yikes! Snow predicted for Friday! This is happening too fast for me. Just had first hard frost (26F) last night.

Every October the weatherman starts the mantra of “possible snow flurries”. And yet it never happens.
This year though it may be true. Hard frost in the Hudson Valley on the 12th. Very early for us!
We received 5 of snow inches this past weekend. Suppose to be low 60’s by this weekend. What a crazy fall!
I am wondering how you transplant the herbs – which ones work best – how do you keep them from becoming leggy – what size pots do you use?
Thanks!!!

Here in MN we got snow on Friday night & again overnight last night. I had to clear my veggie garden yesterday with hundreds of tomatoes still on their plants. It was a very sad day. Thankfully, I got a few herbs transplated from my herb garden into pots to bring inside, so I can have some fresh herbs over the coming winter.
Please can we trade places? I’m melting in the heat here in Mumbai. I dont even have the energy to check how hot it is but its definitely around 36*C (100*F+ ?)
Snow sounds so very lovely right now.
