		<description>I planted Redshift coreopsis last year (got it from the NY Botanical Garden) and that &quot;ring&quot; in the middle turned out to be a mixture of shades of red to maroon, with each flower being slightly different.  Some of the petals also looked almost spotted or streaked.  Definitely an interesting plant.  Mine wouldn&#039;t have gone well with a smoke bush.</description>
