Hi! I have the same weather troubles. I did the same thing and put the rosemary I wintered over on my south facing window sill out on to the porch a few days ago. It seems to be okay.

The wintering on the sill took its toll on the poor thing as it is! I see a little more green on it since I put it outside. I suppose a couple more days will make it obvious if it will survive or not.

I hope yours will make it!!

We were in the low 40s when I got up in the morning.

One of the reasons (there are many, many reasons) I enjoy your blog is that I can relate to the weather. Hope your Canna and Rosemary are okay. That is a most amazing photo of bloodroot. Can't say that I've ever seen it growing colony-like and so, so many flowers.

Rosemary should be okay. Canna, I'm worried about. Sigh.

Your weather. Lady, I don't know *how* you cope! Candidate for sainthood, I suspect (throw in the 12 homeschooled and I no longer suspect...!!!)

This made me laugh because I am the official "weather whacko" at our house. I am always checking the weather "one last time" before I go to bed, just in case. Which is good, since we had snow yesterday - great big (as big around as a pingpong ball) flakes that were wet and nasty and stuck to everything except the roads.

Of course, your "always hopeful" attitude is how we continue to plant I suppose! But glad I skipped it last weekend when it was in the 80s!
