'Autumn Herald' Colchicum

Although this was sold to me as ‘Autumn Herald,’ I am not 100% certain it is true to name. It doesn’t quite match the description in Odyssey Bulbs: “wine-purple, ivory-eyed flowers, accented by pale-orange anthers.” What exactly is wine purple?
