It's inspiring to see that this pond has shade. I had a pond at "our other house." Now that we've removed some front yard trees (gasp!), it's a possibility. (Tree removal was a very serious decision... necessary. See <a href="http://yardisgreen.blogspot.com/2008/08/it.html" rel="nofollow">my August 13 post</a>.) I love ponds and the sound of running water. It’s inspiring to see that this pond has shade. I got rid of my garage to expand my backyard - being single I had no man to have a coronary over no garage - just a place to store more junk. The older I get, the more I plan my shopping trips around the weather...so maybe she won't be carrying any groceries in the snow?
