Susan Albert's books are terrific! I'm really looking forward to meeting her at the Fling, and I'll also be one of the stops on her blog tour.
It's fun to know you're also a China Bayles fan, Kathy.

Annie at the Transplantable Rose

PS Sure hope that Debra from the comment above has taken a gander at Pam/Digging's Green Hall shed... it belongs in a book.

Yeah!! I am a huge fan of Susan's, especially of her Beatrix Potter series. I have placed this talented woman on a pedestal. I knew. I KNEW. . .that she was a truly authentic gardener after reading several of her perfectly-crafted, engaging stories. When I emailed her out-of-the-blue to ask whether she owned a picture-perfect garden shed, Susan promptly replied. No, she doesn't have a shed, but she knew exactly where to direct me ....and through those contacts, I found 2 or 3 locations for my forthcoming book, Stylish Sheds. I envy all of you who will attend Spring Fling and meet her. Very jealous, I am.
xoxo Debra

Thanks for the link to her blog-touring calendar. I hadn't grasped the full nature of this publicity tour, but it's certainly a unique and creative angle. I plan to follow along as much as possible. And maybe even win a book if I'm lucky.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, Susan will be joining us at the Garden Bloggers Spring Fling on April 5th in Austin, and those who have RSVP'd for dinner will have a chance to win two of her China Bayle's mysteries at the door-prize drawing.

I haven't read any of Susan's books, but may try one of them. Sounds like a fun series. I'll look forward to her quest post.

She hasn't used Jimsonweed yet, has she?

Everything in the desert is geared for defense, all our plant life is notable for it.

Hmmmm...
