Who me, Rant?

I try to be good, just like my mother raised me. But sometimes I just can’t help myself. A couple of days ago, The Wall Street Journal printed an article that really annoyed me. So I had myself a good rant. Only, I didn’t publish it here. I became a “guest ranter” at Garden Rant.

If you’ve never visited Garden Rant, it’s a blog written by three gardening women who carry on, clamor, cry, declaim, fume, harangue, pop off, rage, rail, rave, scold, sound off, and yes, rant–usually with good humor, but always with an important point:

Gardening MATTERS.

What differentiates a bulb from a perennial plant is that the nourishment for the flower is stored within the bulb itself.…There is something miraculous about the way that a little grenade of dried up tissue can explode into a complete flower.

This morning went out to get the paper and one plant on each side was flattenened (raccoons, maybe)… Didnt you hear me screaming??
