Do you remember the specialist snowdrop catalog I mentioned way back in January? If you happen to be near Trumansburg, NY, this Saturday, you can visit his garden (and three others) thanks to the Garden Conservancy’s Open Days program. I wish I were touring all four gardens, but I’ve got way too much gardening to do right here at home. Anyone second that?
If winter is slumber and spring is birth, and summer is life, then autumn rounds out to be reflection. It’s a time of year when the leaves are down and the harvest is in and the perennials are gone. Mother Earth just closed up the drapes on another year and it’s time to reflect on what’s come before.
