Sarah of Waiting for Spring (catchy title, no?) has not only picked out her seeds, but placed her order with Vesey’s as well.

What differentiates a bulb from a perennial plant is that the nourishment for the flower is stored within the bulb itself.…There is something miraculous about the way that a little grenade of dried up tissue can explode into a complete flower.

Woohoo and Happy New Year!
I am so pleased you added a comment to my gardening blog. Pleased because it is always good to get one (I am sure you can appreciate that) but also because it had become a little “unkept” and needed some attention. Although we are in the middle of winter, and little is happening in the garden, there is a lot happening in our plans for this year and I will be adding these over the next few weeks.
